In early April 2002 we began
restoration of the Tower and Observatory, and re-roofing the Main House. Here
are some photos documenting this massive undertaking!

layers of asphalt shingles measuring 1.75 inches thick and weighing 7.2
pounds per square foot for a total weight of nearly 3000 pounds!
