Jim Sawatzki (click his name to go to his web page), a Palmer Lake "Video Historian," has produced numerous videos on the history of various sites in Colorado.  His videos are often shown on PBS stations and he has been nominated for an Emmy.  In late 2007, Jim will release his latest video, Summer Sojourn, about the Rocky Mountain Chautauqua Meetings in Palmer Lake, dating from the 1880s.  I'm in the video, portraying Dr. William Finley Thompson, the original owner of Estemere.  In June, 2007, Jim gave me a six minute DVD 'trailer' of Summer Sojourn with permission to put it on www.estemere.com.  My segment comes 4:40 minutes into the video.  Click below to download the 83 MB file.  [You will need a High-Speed Internet connection (e.g., cable).]
